Push- and pop-up notifications

Would you like to set up a push notification or pop-up notification? Here's how:


1. On the left-hand side, click on “Send message” and then on “Notifications”.


2. At the top, click on “Set up pop-up message” or “Send push notification”.

4. Select a start and end date


5. Tick whether you want the notification to appear once or every time someone visits that page


6. Select the section under which this message will appear. When this user presses this button in the app, the message will be displayed (after saving)


7. Choose pop-up or toast: pop-ups must be closed manually, while toasts disappear automatically


8. You do not need to select a form, as this does not work optimally. 


9. Tap Save in the top right corner

4. Leave location set to “all” if this option is already there. This way, everyone will receive the notification. If you select a specific location, only guests who have set this location will receive the notification.


5. Choose whether you want to send it scheduled. If you want to, tick this box. You can then choose a date and time when the push notification will be sent.


6. Tap “Save” in the top right corner




If you do not send it scheduled, everyone who has installed the app will receive the notification after you tap the “Save” button. If you have scheduled it, this will happen at the time you have set.




What is the difference between a pop-up message and a push notification?


A pop-up message can be seen as a notification. It will only be visible to people who open the app at that specific location. A push notification is more urgent: even if people are not in the app, they will receive a notification.
